She started with knitting scarf after scarf after scarf. Most of them were donated to local charities to be given away around the holidays to those in need. She also knit more scarves and some dishcloths for family and friends.
She started selling her hand knits at craft shows starting at the age of 16.
She opened her Etsy shop opened in March of 2011.
She quit her job in November 2011, in hopes of making this knitting thing a full time job.
